I spent so many years writing horror, I might've typecast myself. I'm so obscure, though, it hardly matters. I felt like an explanation might be in order for those who might read the blog and expect more horror and are being bombarded with something else. I think that's explanation enough . . .
The trend of heartfelt, raw, slightly romantic, highly romantic films are still on the docket. Another movie that deserves another shout-out is Me and Earl and the Dying Girl. You will laugh at the unique quirkiness, the insanely original dialogue, and then you will have your heart ripped out by the end, weeping torrentially. All in a good day's work. Because that's what great stories do. All of the above. Me and Earl and the Dying Girl is an absolute gem!
